“Monty and his adventures lend themselves to a great, innovative range of toys where we can continue to explore a breadth of play patterns for years. We are very excited about the possibilities we can explore and look forward to partnering with Fusion and CLM as Kazoops inevitably goes from strength to strength”
Gail Mitchell, Managing Director, Fusion Agency, explains; “Kazoops fans will be able to get their hands on the plush line that will feature Monty and Jimmy Jones and 3 adorable imaginary companions from July 2017. We will initially launch in the lead territories of UK and Australia. With additional key territories aligning the toy launch with free to air broadcast or where demand has built off the back of Netflix”.
Kazoops is all about Monty, a six-year-old boy who challenges life’s questions both big and small with the help of his limitless imagination and his best friend, Jimmy Jones, the family pet pig. In each episode, the duo enters make-believe worlds to challenge everyday preconceptions such as ‘do things have to be the same all the time?’ or ‘do all games really need rules?’
The TV series premiered on CBeebies in the UK on 20 June and launched in Australia on 1st August 2016 on ABC KIDS and has been a phenomenal success from the outset. The show inspires children to explore their imagination and each episode via an original song describe magical journeys of discovery and wonder that kids all over the world are responding to.
