Bensons Trading Company is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill a newly created role – assistant to our Brand & Product Managers. This will be a dynamic and varied role; working across all facets of the business, from licensing, product approvals, social media and advertising.

Key Tasks

  • Providing marketing and administrative assistance to Product/Licensing Managers
  • Project manage and coordinate Social Media, Point of Sale, Website and Print Advertising
  • Processing sales orders and running reports through our company’s ERP systems
  • Assist in managing brand assets and approvals
  • Ensure all contractual licensing commitments are executed properly and on-time
  • Liaise with and build relationships with external licensing agents, and contacts within the industry
  • Electronic filing
  • Coordination of sales presentations and kits
  • General administration
  • Oversee royalty reporting, invoicing and general account keeping for specific contracts
  • Assist with lodgement data entry of spreadsheets where required to track shipments, contracts, approvals and costing timelines
  • Assist in preparation for events when required


  • Must be able to multi-task and work across numerous projects
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proven experience meeting pressing deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and understand all areas of the business
  • Highly literate in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible with working hours where required
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop illustrator and Magento – desirable but not essential
