Since its acquisition by L’Oreal in 2000, the brand has expanded outside the United States to numerous other countries, including Australia.
Popeye is also known for his rugged individualism plus his healthy and active lifestyle, so he makes a very fitting ambassador to promote three of Kiehl’s Australia men’s grooming ranges – Oil Eliminator, Facial Fuel and Age Defender – under the brand message “Smooth Sailing.”
The King Features icon graces three specially designed, limited-edition kits available exclusively at all David Jones stores nationwide and online.
The deal for the collaboration via licensee L’Oreal Australia was brokered by Merchantwise Pty Ltd, Australian agent for Popeye brand owner King Features.
