Silvergate and Haven Licensing are pleased to announce the grand opening of a Peter Rabbit themed garden at Riversdale Estate in Tasmania, Australia.
The first of its kind in the southern hemisphere, Riversdale Estate invites guests to wander through the specially curated Peter Rabbit’s Garden, which tells the story of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit – a long-time favourite of families around the world – with character statues acting out scenes from Potter’s famous books amongst beautiful collections of flowers and plants.
From stealing radishes to hiding in a watering can, the mischievous Peter Rabbit can be spotted throughout the garden – but be on the look-out for other Beatrix Potter characters too, including Jeremy Fisher, Mr. Tod, Squirrel Nutkin, and fan favourite, Jemma Puddle-Duck!
Riversdale Estate has also opened a specialised gift shop stocking all things Peter Rabbit. Guests can also enjoy a special high tea at Riversdale Estate, featuring delights and delicacies with their favourite Beatrix Potter characters on them, as well book the beautiful and unique space for birthday parties.
“The picturesque setting and surrounds of Riversdale Estate lend themselves perfectly to recreate the world of Beatrix Potter.“ said Yvonne King, Director, Haven Licensing, “giving us the perfect backdrop to bring The Tales of Peter Rabbit to life and offering a whole new brand experience for the fans.”
