Yesterday morning, LIMA Australia held its second Global Licensing Survey Update and Networking event in Sydney. The event was held at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in the heart of Sydney CBD. The event was very well supported by the local LIMA Australia Sydney members with almost 40 guests attending on the morning to learn all about the latest updates from the Global Licensing Survey Report, Brand Trends and the latest Nielsen Australian Millennial Report.
The morning kicked off with a light breakfast, coffee and networking by the local LIMA Australia members. Bonnie Shek, Director of Australia & New Zealand at HKTDC began the presentation with an update on the Asian Licensing Industry and the 2018 Hong Kong International Licensing Show in January. Local LIMA Australia Managing Director Tony Bugg then took the audience through a 30 minute presentation on the 2017 Global Licensing Survey Report, the Brand Trends Report from April 2017 and the latest Nielsen Australian Millennial Report. There were some great updates and important insights into the global licensing industry as well as the latest brand popularity trends and some interesting insights which apply to millennials as the “new age” consumers of the future.
The event concluded with each member receiving a show bag which included a copy of the 2017 Global Licensing Survey Report, some great products supplied by U. Games Australia & Winning Moves Australia, a LIMA Australia Notepad and a LIMA Australia Pen. LIMA Australia would like to thank all the members who took the time to attend this event and support LIMA Australia, HKTDC as the venue sponsor and U. Games Australia & Winning Moves Australia as the show bag sponsors for the event.
